National Geographic Giant Screen Film Distribution is committed to supporting you in the marketing and promotion of our films. With "Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West", we've taken this marketing support to a new level, and are responding directly to theater suggestions and requests for how the marketing materials are designed and presented.
Key Art and Marketing Materials
After extensive audience research, we developed one image -- key art -- which captures the theme of "heroic adventure," which resonated with test audiences. This key art forms the foundation of all the different marketing materials and can be adapted to virtually any application -- from print ads to billboards -- and is provided on CD when you license the film so that your marketing staff or ad agency can adapt it to your specific local needs.
Listed below are marketing materials which are available in hard copy or design form; some will be provided to you free of charge when you license the film.

Point of Sale Lobby Display
Responding to numerous requests, we have created a lobby standee for theaters that license the film. While requiring minimal space, this attractive back-lit display provides a dramatic visual element in theater lobbies and spaces.
Educational Map and Timeline
"Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West" will be popular among school groups, especially during the actual Bicentennial celebration. We are pleased to offer a special map and timeline of the trail, which can be used as an effective marketing tool targeted to educators. A generous quantity of these are supplied with each film license free of charge, and additional quantities can be ordered.
Consumer Web site
National Geographic has developed a complete Web site to encompass the many programs and publications of the Society to commemorate the Lewis & Clark bicentennial. Theaters may be able to link directly to the special "Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West" consumer Web site which will feature information about the film and a photo gallery. The site will also link to theaters exhibiting the film.
