 
Two hundred years after the launch of their amazing expedition, this giant screen film authentically recreates the incredible journey of American explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. With the help of breathtaking images and the meticulous research done for the film, students will be able to experience first-hand the adventure, danger and beauty of the uncharted West as it unfolded before the eyes of Lewis & Clark.
Viewers will gain knowledge about the Louisiana Purchase and other historical events that led President Jefferson to assign these two men to such a daunting task; and audiences will learn about the incredible scientific, geological, and geographical discoveries the pair made along the way. The film also explores Native American culture of the time, including an in-depth look at the life of Sacagewea, the Shoshone woman who guided the duo and their Corps of Discovery from the Missouri River to the Pacific Ocean and back.
